Description
This drive-by
tri-state is at the intersection of 268th Street and 488th Ave. near Larchwood, Iowa. The actual tri-point is in the road and is marked by a
small disk. The history of the large witness monument implies that it was formerly located in the middle of the road. Apparently traffic
accidents and other mishaps led to its relocation behind a fence and off the road.
