Description
Julia Butler and
Brian Butler visited this point in 1998. The first few pictures below are from that trip. On July 13, 2001, Brian and Gregg Butler visited
the point. The remaining pictures show that visit. Between 1998 and 2001 a new marker was installed inside a small crypt in the middle of
the road and the witness monument on the side of the road was destroyed, possibly broken off by a farm implement or car accident.
Supposedly, a vintage 1915 monument is buried beneath the center of the road.
