Description
This point is located within the Dakota Dunes Country
Club. We drove to the clubhouse service entrance to ask permission to visit the point. While I was describing our plan to walk the 1600
feet to the point, the maintenance supervisor was already shaking his head "No", but when I finished he said, to our surprise, "No, it's too
far. Take a cart", and proceeded to outfit us with a golf cart and directions. A maintenance path got us very close to the breakwater where
the point is located, requiring only a quick scramble over rocks and driftwood.
