Description
This point is marked by a large granite monument
in a field just northwest of a barn and old foundation, 100-200 yards from Marsh Hill Road in Dracut, MA. In addition to being the
southermost point in New Hampshire, this is the westernmost point on the curved portion of the Massachusetts - New Hampshire boundary. This
boundary follows a course approximately 3 miles north of the Merrimack River, as established in the original Massachusetts Colonial
Charter.
