Description
The Maine - New Brunswick -
Quebec tri-point is in the St. Francis River near the outlet of Beau Lake. This point is accessible from Estcourt Station, ME by following
paper company roads E and then S along Beau Lake, then E on a minor road to a point approximately a half mile from the lake. From here, hike
to the lake and follow the shoreline to the easily identifiable outlet. The water is shallow enough to wade into Canada but at the tri-point
it is perhaps 10 feet deep. On our visit we swam to the tripoint.
